Hi all,
I am a bit of a novice to the H2G2 so I apologise in advance if this question has already been discussed.
Anyway, I remember reading somewhere that DNA was inspired to write The Guide while lying drunk in a field near Innsbruck one starry evening. As I'm travelling to Austria shortly, I thought I would take a bottle of Tequila into an appropriate field and see what happens.....
Does anybody know where I can find the field that DNA lay in?
Cheers VG

I suggest you search the internet it's bound to be there somewhere! Other than that I can't help I'm afraid unless TPTB (the powers that be, or the italics as they are more commonly known) know?

Vogon Grandmother, if you edit you personal space, friendly people like me can drop by and say hello Anything, even just "Hi!" would do.

I suppose that´s one thng to do at an H2G2 meetup. All get drunk and lie down in a field.

I heard somewhere that if you lie down in a field and there are cows in that field they will gather around you - so be careful in those fields. (And I don't think it makes a difference to the cows if you are drunk or sober.)

What's wrong with a few cows gathering?? Getting drunk anywhere usually inspires me...it's a pity I never remember what when I'm sober !
