Honey³

Thanks guys/girls for all the reactions, I have a *huge* list by now! Unfortunately the holiday has not begun yet... I'll be leaving the 15th and I'm working till tomorrow.
Reason why I don't answer for days in a row sometimes is because I still don't have internet connection at home (yeah, shame on ME!) so I'm only able to check h2g2 at work... Rather inconvenient situation, but maybe after summer this will change...

Anyway, I'll definitely let you know what I found (have to check the library and some bookstores since you can't just find every English literature you want here in Belgium...) and what I thought about it!

Rama - now floating around the world on Her Majesty's Finest

Well, I've just come back from a week off and I took The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien.

Hadn't read it in years and really got swept away in the storyline. Still reading it now in fact due to length.

I just re-read LoTR too, to test to see whether it was boring. Why don't you go post on the Tolkein Boring thread? http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F19585?thread=107259 I feel a little bit adrift now I have finished it again. How far through have you got? a tolkein-reader called Ben

Rama - now floating around the world on Her Majesty's Finest

Ben,

The Fellowship are about to enter Moria.

The last time I read it was about 10 years ago and I belted through it. This time I'm reading a lot more slowly (mainly due to time constraints) but I seem to be enjoying it more at a sedate pace rather than just zipping through to the next piece of plot.

But neither is cheesecake or chocolate milk. The resistance to these evil foods has started. We will resist. Resistance is not futile.
