Isn't happening in the external world, no. But some people attempt to convince us that we're not experiencing what we obviously are. It's like someone saying "You don't really hear that noise, because it's not real" to a tinnitus sufferer.
What's the business with the photo man, then?

Well, with hearing we usually mean something that is there. So in that sense they don´t hear it, that´s what people mean. I don´t think they really doubt he "hears" it. Everybody has tried to hear something that wasn´t really their.
He´s just a guy who does some alternative stuff and gets people to pay big money for it. But because he calls it New Age it is not a crime, and I have to prove him wrong instead of the other way around.

Difficult... I agree in principle, Xanatic. In a case where a person is trying to make money by acting as a medium between the live and the dead, or by using a method of healing that involves waving their hands around a person without apparently affecting them, I would be on your side. But my objection is that they are taking money. If the customer (ghost-seeker or patient) believes in the effectiveness of the treatment, then it's worthwhile - except to the disbelieving relations who watch the customer's money being 'thrown away'.
It's still a matter of perception. It's a matter of whether you as an onlooker feel that someone else's money is being wasted (in the example I gave) and whether you want to let that lie. I would be inclined to believe in aura photography, because I personally have experienced the perception of auras. But that's my opinion, and I know you have a different outlook on the 'supernatural'.

If he's overcharging, I'd have a problem with it. This goes for most things as well as the supernatural(which are obviously more difficult to gauge.)
Double the cost of the materials, plus an hourly rate for how long it takes to do.
