as leader of this country, I have a cunning plan to get us back on our feet, 1st we put explosives in all derelict sites and buildings then we pass white flags out to the populationthen start the 3rd world war with someone and before any shots are fired, we detonate all the explosives, wave the white flags and surrender - then all the world WILL send us aid for a change and we will be built up,plenty of jobs theneh!

few days ago they tried blow up atomic bunker somewhere in the Netherlands. it went wrong. a lot of damage in the town. no one hurt. a wonder!

Myself, I swore off on belief long ago. I'd been reading the Encyclopedia Americana article on epistemology, twelve mutually contradictory points, not one of which made the slightest sense except in the context of the other eleven points, a downright medieval deontological system, shuddered with revulsion, decided I could do without belief, with additional reservations on justification. People who go in for excessive exercises of justification make me nervous. I decided to go with a Bertrand Russell style stream of consciousness approach on a foundation of Cartesian epistemological absolutes intead. Bad business believing things. Slows one's reaction time if the situation changes.
