Jolly good.
Taking a quick gleg at the table, it would seem that CM is pretty good at predicting results, but definitely not at predicting scorers.

Oh goodie, that makes the marking easier
It'll be a while before I get it together and sort it all out. I've only been back home about 20 minutes. I've taken a quick gander at the 606 message board, and as expected it is stuffed full of Leeds chavs bragging how they are going to win the league, yadda, yadda, yadda. I posted one or two messages to Rams that I know make intelligent contributions to the board and left it at that.
When I stopped at Watford Gap for some tea, I bumped into quite a few disgruntled looking QPR fans. I thought to myself, my your making good time down the road from Leeds. And then I realised that they'd all left at half time. Ho-hum

I'll save you time marking mine. 2 points again.
Am I hallucinating, or did Brian Deane actually score 4 goals? In the same match?

In the match I missed because I was at home on strong painkillers. I'm not sure whether Dean scored (4!!) or I was hallucinating...

Right, I've marked them all.
I'm afraid I'm not sticking the results up tonight for several reasons. It appears we have a new member joining us this weekend.
* waves to AlexAshman *
At first I thought they might have meisere playing silly-buggers just to confuse us and changing his name yet *again*. But no it appears that this Alex person is a genuine new addition. So let me say, you are very welcome and you are bottom of the table
Well anyway, new additions to the table. Plus calculating Owlatron's Pools Panel results require a fair amount of farting around with Excel spreadsheets. And quite frankly right at this moment, the half-bottle of Wolf Blass Chardonnay that I've got just to my right is a far more attractive proposition
Suffice to say, the position at the top of the table has got tighter. Demon Drawer is top of the league on alphabetical order only. And that Master B's two points whilst being crap does not put him in last place this week. Someone has got only the one point

You're drinking WHITE wine? Poofter...
Gran Eneldo Rioja Reserva here. 1998. Poor year, but half-price at Safeways....

Look here I've had a long day. Lots of driving and hanging around in a cold (and soul-less) stadium. After a day like that I don't much fancy taking on the complexities of a full-bodied merlot or shiraz.
The wine is pretty good. Nice and delicate, and practically free out of some wharehouse in Calais

*waves back *
White wine is acceptable, but not as good as a pint of san miguel...
Neither is it as good as 5 pints of san miguel
I don't think I got just the one point, so at least I didn't lose the battle (but I will lose the war...)

And Owly's Pools Panel Picks are...
Dundee 0-1 Hibernian
Dunfermline 2-1 Kilmarnock
Hearts 0-2 Motherwell
Livingston 1-1 Aberdeen
With no additional scorer points.

For the most part this was quite a quiet week. All the points, with just a couple of exceptions, are pretty close together. And for the most part are taken from just two games - Dundee and Livingston. This shows that when it comes to predicting results in leagues where we know nothing about the teams, we just tend to follow the pack.
The only interesting news, if you could call it interesting, is that my PC has decided to throw a wobbly again and is refusing to display Excel properly. Therefore this set of calculations and tables updates and the rest is being brought to you courtesy of my office PC. See how much I care about your happiness and well-being that I'm prepared to come into work late on a Sunday afternoon! (*)
So, as I said last night. Demon Drawer and Ormondroyd are tied at the top of the table. And they're also the first through the 100 points barrier for this season
But neither of those two won this week's round. For that we have another tie between Meisere and McKay the Disorganised on a highly creditable 8 points each. Well done sirs

I do so much better when I research instead of doing it off the top of my head. I just literally haven't had time lately.

Cheers GD
It's nice to know that I'm not too bad at this game - I seem to keep losing at the "Last One To Post Here Wins" game...

I was cheering on our defence for 3/4 of the game 2-0 after 22 minutes is not nice. I'm exhausted but it got me three points.
Key: Complain about this post
