A Conversation for FANTASY FOOTBALL - Season 12 - "Say No to Mafia Bucks"
FF12 - Week Eleven - Results
GreyDesk Posted Oct 25, 2004
First off I need to apologise for the late arrival of these results. This weekend I was off up North at the Birmingham meet, and by the time I got home on Sunday evening I was too tired to concentrate enough to do the marking.
I blame KerrAvon for all this. I had been on what looked like a promise of the sofa to sleep on for Saturday night, but as she had passed out on it by about 6am, I had to make do with a rather uncomfortable floor instead. The net result: about 2 hours sleep
Anyway, enough about me...
Eighteen scorers! Blimey
But not one full-house?
A broad range of points this week, as is becoming the norm. With most of the usual familiar faces in their familiar positions. The stand-out performance this week I believe goes to Bottletop, who not only has gained the top spot in the table, but has also correctly predicted a scorer in all five matches. That is a feat that has never been achieved before
The winner this week, and a man who is making steady progress up the league table, is Ormondroyd with 12 points from 4 correctly predicted results and scorers. Well done sir

A respectable result, I feel.
Still vaguely in touch with Ormy, anyhow.

I personally blame Arsenal for not trying in denying me a full house. All I wanted was 1 goal after all.

Well, it was a great weekend for me. And a particularly fine lob over the 'keeper from Dean Windass that got me one of my points.

Iamnezzy - I know what I've done here. I updated the table to account for last week's error, but forgot to update the spreadsheet. Therefore when I copied and posted the code from that your 4 points from week 10 weren't included. Sorry
riotact - You didn't predict a Newcastle win. You predicted this: "Newcastle 2- Man City (Kluivert)". No points for an incomplete prediction I'm afraid.
