December is when this competition comes to an end. I haven't decided precisely which weekend it will be - either the 4th or the 11th. So unless your absence is for the beginning of the month, you shouldn't miss a round.
As for the next competition. Again I haven't decided exactly which weekend will be the kick off. But I have to say that I'm drawn towards it being the 8th January which will be the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
