I entirely agree. I always take extreme positions only to provoke a response from every one, including me. If we were only very nice to each other, we would probably be lying to each other.

In any case, stripped of what you call bile and vitriol (I would call it the naked truth as I see it), I hope there is some point to my perceived tirade.

Today's BBC News has a story:

"Tibetan monk 'shot' while on fire

A Tibetan woman walks past Chinese security personnel in Chengdu, China, 28 February 2009

Chinese authorities are trying to stop protests by Tibetans

A Tibetan monk has been shot after setting fire to himself during a protest at Beijing's rule, reports say.

The incident happened in the Tibetan-populated town of Aba in southwest China's Sichuan province during a gathering of more than 1,000 monks.

The monk, named Tapey, is said to have shouted slogans and waved a Tibetan flag, then doused himself with petrol and set himself alight.

Campaign groups said witnesses then saw

Chinese police shoot the man. .....

Fear of being packed off to Chinese gulags is deterrent enough. But it is the headache that they chose themselves by not rising against their abominable government.

What should concern the rest of the world is the way Tibetan civilisation is being butchered by these chinazis. What should also concern is that the cunning eyes of china are now slowly focusing on Nepal. So who's next? India (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Maghalaya, and the Maoist apparatchiks elsewhere in India)? Bhutan? ... Any where you find people who look Mongoloid (an ugly term considering that the Mongols were far more civilised, their identity stolen by the chinese).

Tibet and Eastern Turkestan were the first dominoes to fall in the rigged chinese game.
