Should I translate some bits? if so, let me know, will you?

Aquí no llueve nunca.

The correct way should be:
It rains in different places, usually, the zone with more rain is the north of Spain, but the rest is quite dry.

Level: Intermediate-I know most grammar rules, but I'm short on vocabulary.
((The difference of 'Ser' an 'estar' is very easy...))
I have a question, though. In lists in Spanish, is it like english where you put and (y) between the last and second-to-last items, as in 'la sala, el comedor, y la cocina' (the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen), or is it between all the itmes, like 'la sala y el comedor y la cocina' (same as before, but with and in between)?

Hello tattered-hat.
There is a difference between saying and writing the 'y' between all items or a comma and an 'y' before the last item.
The latter is a simple ennumeration of things, the former will refer more to emphasis for communication purposes, so context is needed. If I were you I would use commas, and finally, the 'y'.So, in normal conversation and writing it will be better to produce:
La sala, el comedor, y la cocina.
Hope this clarifies your question
