I used to have eleven pet rats. The two adult ones used to wait for me to get up every morning and sit with them, while they ran around me and ate their breakfast, which was usually whatever I was eating. The time I wish to retell is when the baby rats had just started walking and climbing. We had a bit of shoelace for them to climb up and down. Adventure rat, the biggest and smartest of the little ones, climbed up and waited for her siblings to follow. Then undid the knot that held it up and watched them fall. She had a little evil gleam in her eye afterwards. Mole rat, a baby rat that looked like it had a brick for a head, decided to knock over the thing Adventure rat was standing on in retaliation. Neve underestimate the stubborness of a stupid rat, adorably so, and the cunning of a smart rat. When I no longer live around cats, as much as I love them, I can get rats again YAY
