h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Our poodle is getting quite old now, but she always has a bizarre knowledge of when guinea pigs have escaped. We have a lot of guinea pigs, and although they don't escape often (just when my Mum leaves the cage open!) the dog always seems to know and is out there chasing them around and barking to us so that we know. She never hurts them, just follows them and alerts us of their location. She can also herd them towards us. How sweet!

My cat Pumpkin does the exact same thing, but with hamsters! Unfortunately, we've lost 3 or 4 hamsters to my cat Baby, who is the most evil little thing.
