Here it is in quotation marks: "Theory of Knowledge (ToK) is a lesson that allows the participant to investigate the 'ways of knowing' and to basically philosophize. At the end of the course an IB student is expected to have completed an essay (for which the titles are prescribed by the IB Organisation or IBO) and a presentation of their own design. "

The thing about it is, extended essay was "of our own design" while the TOK essay topic is "prescribed by the IB Organisation or IBO"
I hope you guy did well.

We've done a extended essay and then a TOK essay with eight topic areas or something to choose from.

Yeah, I'm doing that eight topic question next week. I'm a wreck because I haven't been doing well in class. Any advice?

oh yea we did that...our TOK teacher (who is actually the brother of one of our friends) starts the class in the third nine weeks of Junior year and it goes through the 2nd nine weeks of the senior year...that way we can do our extended essay over the summer...and we did do the perscribed title...I think I did topic number 2...I'm not sure...whatever it was it was 99% pure BS...anywho...we just finished reading Consiliance in January...it wasn't the most interesting book...better than Silent Spring...297 pages of DDT is bad...
