Nonsense! In the Hobbit Smaug (big dragon of DOOM!) is referred to as a wyrm! IN other literatures that i have read dragons are referred to a wyrm. Therefore I am right because my ego does not permit me to be wrong!

no a worm is a spineless, slimy, and wiggly creature that lives in the Earth, a wurm is a large reptilian creature that lives where it pleases.

And a wyrm is a dragonic creature, defined differently with different groups... I think one group said it was a female dragon...which I am not.

You're thinking of wyverns.

I don't know. There are so many different terms: drakes, wyverns, weyrlings, dragoons, wyrms, ect.
