Might I add that in the nearly two years since I registered at h2, I've only had one problem with another user. This person is not only a former digibox user, but is also the one who seems to have the present beef *with* digibox users. I wouldn't pay this person much mind, there's no shortage of idiots in the world, we're bound to run into the occasional one here at h2 as well.

as an ex digibox user i can't see the problem with digibox users accessing whatever services are available as long as what they're doing is lawful.

HiI'm a digibox user, and from what I can see this feud over the access/use of h2g2 to us lesser mortals is one borne of jealousy,discrimination and not to mention snobbery.
Okay so I dont have personal computerBut if my access was denied because of a handful of vindictive users I'd almost certainly feel some sort of hatred for these people.I honestly feel we should not be persecuted in this manner just because we cant maybe afford such luxuries.Rant over...

As one of you has mentioned, If H2G2 had a problem with the 'Magic e-mail', then why have they and are at present, spending MONEY to try and improve the system to make it easier for digibox users.

I wouldn't be to worried about it, it just seems that some people are intent on trying to prove that they are more intelligent than others, and as someone has said, that's just plain snobery.

telewest will lose there sites they gave us such as cnn, itn, and various others,that they have as part of the news section of our service.

so its not in there interest to bring
the firewall up. so we cant acsess the h2g2 and dna sites.

they would lose part(and a big part)of there service they are providing us now.

the tw users would drop the tw,like a hot potatoe,tw cant afford to lose anymore, or they would be total screwed, with the compitition from such as skyjim

Well there is no need for this petition as we have been there done it all before its nothing to do with h2g2 just a stupid young lady and another person they will never take digibox users off
i have been on here from the start of the magic email been an ACE but cant spend the time on here now like i used to.

if telewest switches off h2g2 they can come and collect their digi box aswell.only that needs turning if yoome .any petition i can sign so that yoome is removed .ill be there like a shot.

We all need to be able contact with people however possible this has been done through out the past by by means of penfriends and such like..

after all isn't this the modern way however accessed...

but I cannot see how Telewest would put a stop to to it all.

I started on a digibox and still have it and a pc, I became an ACE like rebs and others using a digibox, please remember DONT go screaming and shouting at anybody, that will do the cause no good....

I too have a digibox and p.c and have only been on h2g2 for a while. However it would be a shame to see these people go just cause they have no p.c. Most people i chat too have one,so if they had to go i probably would'nt have many left to chat too. Keep digibox users.

i'm to see all digi box users go as most were m8's. h2 seems to be too quiet now and don't seem the same since. its a shame as its not there fault they ain't got a p.c. took me a while to get one myself and this is'nt new. bring them back as its the fault of one and not all.....
