SO I'LL BE '"LURKING " AND LEARNING I've just joined this ,what would you call it!' interactive,dynamic complimation of "stuff", as the late Prof Julius Somner Miller used to say. I live in downtown Brisbane,Australia,actually in a shire North of the city so, maybe it should read 'uptown' hey?. Just being atypical by thowing in the 'hey', which is something Queenslanders have a habit of doing at the end of any sentence,statement or even a question.Bloody annoying at times.specially when they finish a question with a question .Any way I've got 3 grown-up kids ,two cats and a wife, not in that order though,and like one of the people I dropped in to read up about, I got through the 60's and still was able to drag the missus up to the far reaches of Oz just so she could bring them back to the East coast, with yours truely doing the long trek across the continent with 17 years of 'usefull','just might find a use for it', o no it's my favorite,don't think of it assortment of goods which todate,some 10years later, are still in storage in the 2 car garage (which would'nt know what a car is or was,having not seen one since it was built 20years ago). Enough! waffle of how we got here, more later. Suffice it to say we live in a terrific place, hot ,sunny,wild animals everywhere, and thats just at the Supermarket. Big Steve ,the icon of all thats Oztralian, lives up the road aways, about 12kilometers that is , and the Sunshine Coast is just another short hop up the road, O' by the way ,yes you can go down some of our streets and see 'Skippy's relatives lazing on the front lawn after a feed of Mum's daiseys, but I would'nt try to give them a cats tummy rub,as they will kick and then bound away making flat work of anything they did'nt eat and then probably come back to sidekick your car for good measure.Actually they are pretty dumb.They do get hit or rather they hit cars because their so sprung up hopping that they can't stop. Occasionally we get a drop of rain or two, just a little more than the rest of the country but that's because we are on the coast.Well, that will do for a start and besides my feet are getting sore peddling the generator. I'm a Tech in Air Cond. and have work to do so say G'Day some time,Yuk!!! how pathetic. Drop in say hello and I'll try my best to get back to everyone.
