John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!"

Hi Galigan. Welcome to h2g2 Friends of Tibet. A link to the Dalai Lama's birthday card was sent to his office in Dharamsala, India, on his birthday, last Wednesday. But since His Holiness is such a busy man, he may not have had time to look at it yet. Whether he has already seen it or not, your name and good wishes are more than welcome. smiley - smiley

Take your time and have a good look around. There is a lot of material to read and a lot of interesting sites to visit. Pop by and introduce yourself on the on the Barkhor Message Board - A2250325. And don't forget to spread the word about Tibet and h2g2 Friends of Tibet.

Can I join too? smiley - smiley
I skipped some of my classes last year to see the Dalai Lama in Austin, Tx, USA. It was well worth all the work I had to make up for. It was an experience I'll never forget, and I'm eager to help Tibet in any way I can!

Consider it done, donlope01.

The easiest and best way to help Tibet, according to the Government of Tibet in Exile, is simply by talking about Tibet and sharing information. Please do help spread the word.

Listed in our Current Projects section are some other ways to get involved and help:

I would like to join. I am astonished about the lack of international concern or even awareness of Tibet's occupation, and would like to show my solidarity with its people.

May all who read these words be filled with the utmost peace and joy in this moment and the next! May the blood that was shed during the tumultuous reign of the oppressive chinese government become the clear light of the noble truths of Buddhism. May be free of mental formations!
