It is with a very heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of our dear friend Terri.

This has come as a complete shock to all who have known her, not least her partner, Peter and Aye Bee PW who kindly contacted me last night.

Terri and Peter had just returned from a holiday in Italy, where they attended a wedding. She became ill on Wednesday and visited her doctor for medication. There had been no sign of what was to come, she just fell asleep on Saturday morning and never woke up. It was all very peaceful.

I'm saddened to hear this news, Lil. It shouldn't happen to someone so young.

I've visited Terri and Peter a couple of times: it was fun. There was a wonderful feeling of freedom there. I knew Terri wasn't in great health, but she was still very full of life. She laughed a lot, as did I when I was there.

TRiG, Terri has talked about your visits and how you managed to keep 'the beast' going for her. I can still hear that Brummie accent now - and that contageous laugh!

Terrible news lil. My thoughts are for her partner, it is terrible to lose someone so very young.

Terri's gone far too soon, but she certainly crammed a lot of experiences into her life while she could. I'm glad she did.

This is terribly sad. Terri was one of the first people I got to know on hootoo. Thanks for the reminders here that she lived so fully.

My thoughts are with her family.

Terri had a full life-- and a beautiful voice. I will miss her very much. She was one of the first friends I made on hootoo, and one of my dearest. My thoughts go out to Peter.

RIP, my Wooh.

Have any of you got any little anecdotes you want to recall for us?

I used to write poems about some of the chats we had when she lived in France

I remember when she and I used to speak on the phone, and if I said anything negative about myself, she'd hang up on me, and I'd have to call back again later.

I also remember sending her some t-shirts and CDs for K's bands; she'd take them to the pub and make everyone there listen. I once accidentally told her K's band had played with the UK Subs, when I meant to say the US Bombs. She'd told me she subsequently met one of the UK Subs at a gig somewhere, and managed to get him to "remember" that it happened.

Terri was a wonderful support through the lows of my married life and divorce. We had many msn chats about love and life, that helped me through. In all her hard times, she was there for all her "fiends", as she called us.

This is hard to swallow. She stayed with me when we had the German meet only this May. I was just thinking of writing her an e-mail this week.

She was really a great laugh, although in pain and with many health problems. She will be sorely missed around hootoo, and in real life surely much, much more.

Very sad news indeed but it seems she had a end. She came from the same neck of the woods as me and we often discussed Brum, as it was then, and as it is now.

I shall miss her posts which were always interesting, and even when her health was at its worst she never showed a sign of self pity.
