I bought a house today.



For those who read yesterday's Journal, you'll see what a difference a day makes. Goodness, what a rollercoaster this 36-hour period has been...

Anyway. My new house is 20 metres from here. How handy is that?

Settlement is on 16 June. I'll be in there before 30 June.

I'm not sure how one would post a pillar. Not by airmail; that would be far too expensive.

Pc, as noted elsewhere - I have indeed bought 'the nice one'.

Dq, I'm not sure about getting a cat; there are parrots in the area and a cat might stop them coming into my garden. Parrots are fun, and I don't have to feed them. I think there's a cat that comes with the house next door to the one that's now mine. I can probably borrow her from time to time if I need the company of a cat, and if she's like every other cat I've ever known she won't be to proud to ask me to feed her.
