Borrow her
A is not a thing to be owned
I understand your concern for the parrots. Even if I am surrounded by tall trees and other places where birds would feel at home and safe from s there are too few of the smaller and colourful birds here
Probably because there are quite a few s around
And rooks and the odd goshawk

No you don't
dogs and kids I can believe
not cats
they just let you believe you borrow them
remember this: the may rule the universe - but they never came anywhere near ruling a cat

Friday night; finally, a chance to celebrate without having to get up too early tomorrow.
There's a bottle of cava in the fridge - a gift from a colleague - but that probably isn't for solo consumption, so it's beer for me tonight. But that's just fine too.

Mala, if you can find an inflatable architect I'll be delighted. Failing that, how about a small rubber
?
Webbie, here's a few old photos: http://public.fotki.com/Pseudo-Ivan/birds/ The first dozen were taken at the house I'm in now, or up at the local shops two streets away. Oddly enough, the ninth photo on that page includes a bit of my new garage on the left-hand side.
There's a shameful number of photos still in my camera; I must do something about that. It's been so long since I last added stuff to Fotki that I can't quite remember how to do it. This is a pity as I have a couple of splendid bird photos hanging about. One of them is a photo of a Ganggang - one of my favorite parrots - against a backdrop of my new house as seen from the driveway of the house I'm in now. I took this photo more than a year ago.

STOP PRESS - I just managed to add the Ganggang as photo 24 in that 'Birds' folder. The rest of the photos can wait for another day...

I like his ridiculous little crest. Other cockatoos have a full mohawk effect; the ganggang only has what looks like a single feather out of place.

Oh, I don't know. 'Birds of a feather', and all that...

A female can be overwhelmed with all that showing off... A more sage bird might be happier being a little less noticeable
