When you get right down to it, really think about it, consider the implications, ramifications, mummifications and meticulous gesticulations, aren't all h2g2 threads, ultimately, for lil?

In which case...



This little number I will set aside just for lil. It has three buttons and one dial. The buttons are coloured green, but each is very carefully labelled in the best calligraphic script:

"Teal"

"Aqua"

"Navy"

I have no idea what the dial does, but it's coloured orange. And I think lil knows what that means...

Don't press the red one unless you've first pushed the blue one, unless of course the dial is set to 'off', in which case it will be the green not the blue you'd want to press in order to be able to press the red, otherwise, don't press the red one; you'v be better off setting the dial to 'not off', and then just going straight for the pink button, providing the secondary dial isn't set to a prime number, and that you've not immediatly beforehand pressed a maroon button. In fact, just don't press the maroon button at all , its not worth the hastle of cleaning up; unless of course the forth slide switch down is set to '100%', but in any case, if that were the case it'd probably just be easier to start at the other end, with either the topaz or black buttons; providing you've not done anything with the other dial first, or that would just be a nuscience.

I just tried a red button and got the screen divided into quarters with the weather forecast in one, the news in another and Antiques Roadshow in the third - the fourth was the odd man out, I suppose - a picture of the BBC 24 hour swirly symbol. Am I on the right channel?
