Layers.
A big cuddly cardigan, belted over a shirt, with a flash of lacy Tshirt just visible underneath.
I reckon I'm looking OK today - baby pink tight leather jacket over choclate brown long sleeved T and matching tousers, high heeled brown and pink button ankle boots.
Depends how much you have to be outdoors!

Leather trousers. Warm, waterproof, can be worn just about anywhere with the right top bits.

Well, Kate Silverton (BBC Newsreader) looked quite sexy, presenting the New Year celebrations from London's South Bank. She was wearing a dress with quite a deep cleavage. (However, I think the Daily Mail reporter went a bit OTT by describing the dress as 'daring'. It'd have to be a much deeper cleavage than that for me to describe it as daring 
).
