Yes... One of their several good albums. "Good" meaning *much better than most other bands' best albums*

Do you know something I don't?
OK, it's been a few years since they put plectrum to guitar string, but I don't think they've officially quit.
Or do you mean they *were* good, but the more recent stuff isn't all that?

The NME never liked Queen but that says more about their pretentions and hang ups then the band themselves i.e the fact that Queen refused to be angsty, dowdy, post-modern and obviously weren't either working class or faux working class.
Don't get me wrong I love some the NME's favourite bands especially Nirvana and "His n'Hers"/"Different Class" era Pulp and think that bands like The Smiths and Radiohead had some glorious moments but it does seem to me that who the NME campaigned was less to do with musical talent (they campaigned East 17 and lot of Smiths sound-alike rubbish in the early 90's) and more to do with fitting in with their ideals of what bands should be about.
My favourite bands are - Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, The Dandy Warhols and Nine Inch Nails although I do love 70's Queen and a lot of different music which even extends to on the poppier end of the spectrum to Brittany Spear's "Toxic" and Beyonce's "Crazy in Love", Abba and Duran Duran.

The inter music paper "wars" of the past used to amuse me. I used to sell a few photos of bands to MME, Sounds, Record Mirror and Melody maker. They used to have these I-hate-the-other-music-paper things going on, but the 2 music papers who were at it the most were on the 2 floors above/below each other in the same office block and owned by the same international publishing company!.
Most of these music papers have closed, but their "wars" still amuse me.
