ok, so here goes:
meatloaf, jim steinman (he wrote meatloafs songs) the killers, hard fi, the drifters(dont ask) black sabbath, the eagles, the who, dire straits, nirvana, franz ferdinand (just a bit), dusty springfield(again, dont ask) jet,and magic numbers.
my fave literary artist is joseph heller -though closely followed by terry pratchett (not sure about the 'literary'ness of his books though!)
