*waves, sending a large droid to life*

Before we looked at a very basic attack...

*droid is visable holding an iron pole of a similar length to a lightsabre*

Now, we look at self defense.

This droid is programmed to do the same basic attack that you just learnt. Using your lightsabre, you must deflect this attack, preferably is such a way as to leave the droid vulnerable. Watch..

*Droid swings pole. Tarne catches the downswoop and forces the pole up, flicking it out of the droid's clutch*

*returns the pole to the droid*

Now.. You try.

very well master.

*places sabre in pocket and stands facing the droid.

the droid darts forward and swings the pole. Jo'ech spins to his right and brings his foot round to connect with the back of the droid.

the force of the droid running and the connecting kick sends the droid sprawling onto the floor.

Jo'ech is stood in and attack postur over the droid*

You please me yet again, Hored

Now, try again using your lightsabre, as if in combat...

*observes the proceedings, curiously in a corner*

*the droid gets back to it's feet and turns to jo'ech.

the droid darts forward to attack again, this time Jo'ech spins taking his body closer to the floor.

as the droid goes to swing its pole there is a sudden flash of blue as Jo'ech bring his sabre out of his pocket and activates it.

Jo'ech brings the blade up in a arch of blue light, fliping the pole from the droids hand whilst also spin kickinh the droids legs from beneath him.

Jo'ech stands and faces his master. a small glimmer of fury in his eyes.*

Master, i could have sliced that droid in two. why am i just to defend by disarming?

An interesting question...

*appears, and vanishes again*

*is suddenly at the side of Master Womarg*

Master! there was much darkness within that one!

*draws sabre into attack position*

*looks slightly nervous and slinks away from the spot the Hooded Figure vanished*

*glares at the two intruders*

Besides, those droids aren't cheap
