h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

If anyone doesn't know this, KiltedJedi has left the building.

What you probably didn't know was that he was a Jedi Council member. Ironically the one that was 'missing' on the Dramatis Personae and has never posted at all to the threads EVER .

This leaves the option of letting Council members fall by the wayside to eventually make myself Grand Dictator or, and I'd prefer this, bring in someone new to make up the deciding voter seat (I mantain on and off contact with the other members).


So who wants a job?

Not much to it: get told you're not updating enough, argue with AD, add narrative intervention, have a cushy little place on the list of writers on A1116622, and most importantly be trustworthy.

Anyone can 'apply' be it players (preferably) or for some strange reason lurkers who have an addiction to reading Journals which probably mean smeg all to them.

How many knights are left though? Three?

Okay only Kham and feuille are still about, unless you fast track a padawan or eight...

Ancha can't do it why?

Cause ancha's already a master....

But not on the council.

That really leaves only you and ancha for the job. Unless people pop up from no where like klatsim (god thats a god awful story line. Its nearly as bad as Jolee Bindu)

Reading that it means that it could be any one of 215801(minus the 12 Council members, do the maths) Researchers, but preferably one of the 25 currently registered Jedi Masters, Knights or Padawans (discounting people marked FALLEN on the Jedi Council list).

So it does leave slightly more than me and Ancha for the job. Plus Klatsim's an NPC and as such is counted under HPB for the purposes of this post.

Okay, thats all fair enough then, although Klatsim popped out of no where.

Therefore, i apply for the post of being the next council member

An arguement!

So are we all deciding this or are you picking HPB?

Just to re-iterate what I've said publicly many, many, many times before, I don't want to be considered for the post, but I'd like to nominate Ancha.

Oooh, if it's not in Character, I'll go for it...

It's irrelevant to character Anth... it's about account access, NPC control etc.

Well look, lets look at the contenders

Psyc - 3/1 favorite - On firm ground with this one, having been around from the beginning. Bookies favorite tonight although age and availability at the moment could let him down.

Ancha - 5/1 - Good runner. Has been known to go the distance and has pulled out some corkers when its been called for.

Khamsin - 10/1 - Crowd favorite, although younger then the other two which could see him slipping into the final straight.

Feuille - 20/1 - Another crowd favorite, although is currently MIA.

Anth - 50/1 - the dark horse of this race, could prove a surprise to many

AD - 200/1 - the lame donkey of the race, has suffered for bad management, although could possibly sneak through using a taxi and a machette
