What a Monday. It started on a great high with an Entry of mine hitting the Front Page and ended with me in bandaged arm due to being burnt by hot well hot water to be precise.

Is it a bad/extensive burn?

I think it might just be the outer layer that's been scalded from my thumb to my elbow. First stung like a thousand nettles now just itches.

Ouch!

Oh, the Americans say iced tea is very nice, but then you'd be posting here about getting frostbite, wouldn't you?

someone asked me what would i do if i won at least a milion ot the lotto, i said hide for the rest of my life, because with my luck, something very nasty would be sure to spoil it lol

hope you ok, a burn even with water is nasty, ive had a fat burn in the past, and still have the scare jimbob xx

beleive me when i say its happened to me time and time agin, and prof, we get something, and its taken away more or ess straight away.

I am sorry to hear that you have scalded your arm with hot water, I have scalded myself a few times but luckily enough I have not needed treatment. The most startling time I have had was when I set my hair a light when I was at the kitchen stove cooking, it got on one of the hobs and started to burn the smell was awful. I hope that the irratation will go soon, I think that is a sign that new skin is forming, I have heard that lavender oil is good for burns.

The doc thought I had a fight with the I thought I had just had a falling out and we both had other plans. Oh I also shivered when he put the ice on my arm and he said he tended to have that affect on women.

about 5 days ago, my back decided to"crack" on me as i call it.

its pains me for usually about 2 or 3 days, but now as im older and the spine is probably weaker, its been 5 days.

been out today and seems to be at least 95% there, a few small twinges but getting there.

now its a chance that by the ime im 63 in a few yrs time, i will need to use a walkingstick.

and a 50/50, by the time im 65, i will need to use a wheelchair, temp or all the time.

my arm gets examined on Thursday. I'm so nervous they are going to go and rip it all off. I'll be in agony. Please be gentle doctors.

Well survived the I was wriggling at just my bandage being taken off The sellotape was the worst bit ....I'm pleased I have not accepted my mum's desire to wax my legs. I haven't even had my ears pierced. Hate needles. I'm a pansy aren't I? Anyway arm on the mend by this time next week hopefully it will be as good as new No sellotape just new bandage.

Going barn dancing this weekend perhaps I ought to have a sign on it saying be careful with this arm.

hopefully it will be as good as new ? was a new one too expensive then

I'll be happy to have my old one back it is the same age as the rest of me
