Angel most of the statistics I've quoted are from the office of national statistics (http://www.statistics.gov.uk) specifically the 2001 census area of the site...and the site I have linked to repeatedly.
When I said you were wrong I was referring to this statement: " If you are any other race than white you get treated alot better than you do if you are white!"
And your ongoing assumption that there were government incentives for recruiting ethnic minority students into university.
As I said (repeatedly) there are *NO* incentives to recruit students based on race.
There is an incentive to recruit based on higher education participation rates but this is a *blind* incentive...universities *NEVER* know which students will attract the higher funding.
All information we have on low participation neighbourhoods points to a vast majority of white students - reflecting the vast majority of white people in the UK.
Yes ethnic minorities are more likely to be in the low participation neighbourhoods - but even if they are twice as likely to be in those neighbourhoods it still means there will be a white majority of over 80%...in fact even if ethnic minorities were 5 times more likely to live in low participation neighbourhoods there would *still* be a white majority of 60%.
As for this: "You are a hippocrate, you said earlier that I was wrong about what I had said eg more lower class people going to universities but now you are saying I am right!" I think you need to read through the thread again.
And I should point out (again) that incentives are based on low participation - not class...the two generally match but it wouldn't be impossible for a very wealthy area to be included if there was a tendency for the inhabitants to not go to university.
If you want me to explain all of this again let me know which area you aren't grasping and I'll try to explain it again.
