Yeah, I know I haven't been around h2g2 much lately, though it's been great seeing so many of you over on my 'casa az' blog.
I thought it might be a good idea to start a journal entry for random chat or whatever, for hootoo friends dropping by who might like to say hello.
So help yourself to or , give the cats a snibble, and make yourself at home.
If anyone is curious about the cancer thang, please check this link for all my cancer-related blog posts first. I don't mind talking about it, but a lot of it has already been said.

It's nice to be back.

Hola preciosa,
I'm glad to read you here.
It is cold there? My mother told me it was snowing this morning in Granada. She said exactly: " there are falling snowflakes that seems scraps of cloth"
YOu know how hyperbolic an andalusian can get

It's freezing here, Mar. The thermostat on my bedroom heater says 12º in the morning.
That is a fabulous link ... muchísimas gracias!

My bedroom's not been over 10° in over a month. That's not so bad, but the bathroom is also that cold!

Snibbles aren't munchable, but it's probably ok to give the ponies one.

'It's freezing here, Mar. The thermostat on my bedroom heater says 12º in the morning.'
Let's see. The thermometer outside my window says 'minus 25 degrees Celsius, sucker!'
That's about where it's been all day.
Except when it said 'minus 30 degrees Celsius! Suck it up!'
When I went out this morning the inside doorknob was frosty, so my hand was wet when I grabbed the outside doorknob to pull the door shut. As my hand was briefly frozen to the door, I had flash backs to various childhood Canadian winter experiences involving tongues and cold metal.
I spent most of the day driving about visiting.

It's not snowing *here*, but probably in the mountains edging this valley, yeah.
Here, it's raining.

Hey Fathom! Long time no see.
Blah blah blah, anhaga. It doesn't matter what the temperature outside my (or your) window is. I still say that 12º indoors is -making.
You guys and your insulated centrally heated houses! I've had to buy those gloves with the fingertips cut off so that I can type and read at home.
I hear ya about the bathroom, Mal. I've got a little space heater in mine that helps a bit.
He season, SC?

"He season, SC?"
Oops, that was either a typo, a freudian slip, or senility...
*wishes there was a HE season...where can I get a hunting permit?*

TRiG (Ireland) A dog, so bade in office Posted Dec 15, 2008
The temperature here is well above Canadian levels, but it's chilly enough. My parents are off to Canada soon to visit my brother, and my mother is protesting. No sun all year, and now they're heading for the Canadian winter!
Anhaga, I thought you'd have more sense than to lick pumps.
