Hopefully I will think up a new system whereby new characters can start role-playing right away, and old characters can be quitely turned into table supports without anybody noticing, but without disrupting the storyline or otherwise plunging the world into chaos. It may incorporate something similar to a Law System as seen in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - but not exactly like that. Not enforced by any actual person, it'll be just in the nature of the place.

I have been working on this alot while I've been gone. I've been trying to write two - no three - novels at the same time somewhat based on the type of quest that happened here all that time ago, and I've filled notebooks with ideas. Hopefully when I get back from the summer, I will be able to publish a detailed world-description on my web site that I've been working on.

It's called "History of the Multiverse" by the elven scholar Arthear Everbloom, who lived about a hundred years before the time we've been exploring. He baseically goes through all the races, creatures, classes and magics, describing the functions, abilities and histories of each one, as well as many of the NPC's theories about how the Multiverse came to be, and what Players actually are. its neat

Because of the larger number of players that have joined, I have now created a new object inside the Inn called the "Silver Sword Heroes Registration Kiosk" in order to avoid cluttering this thread with new character registrations and account/character-creation questions. New characters will now register there instead, but I still encourage experienced players to welcome new players, which will still happen here. The list of players has now moved to a seperate entry at A5038805, and other bits of the front page will probably eventually migrate to new entries as well as the game continues to expand. I hope within the next few years to completely uproot the whole shebang to it's very own web site which is currently in development. But I'll have to learn php before that becomes a reality. OK, now it gives me great pleaseure to announce the implementation of a new fourth class here on Silver Sword Fantasy!

Elementalists (see the new Character Creation page at A5056913) are a class for using elements to attack, as many have suggested.

I am going to begin construction of an extensive area in which peer-to-peer roleplay can go on (roleplay that is not overseen by a Dungoeon Master and thus is not formal) as well as thinking up a basic decision-tree for a new organized quest which will (hopefully) start soon.

I know that many of you must have moved off to other sites or quit roleplaying entirely because of my absense, but I hope I can get some people back. I also want to say that I am not competeing with other roleplaying sites, in fact I am a member (unactive) of several and hope that all the people running them will join the h2g2 Game Master's Guild at A4087712 so we could get together and compare notes. Everybody's got unique stories to tell!
