Hi.
I know the Darwin-awards. Yes, they are great fun, interesting entertainment and a laugh-a-day.
But after I read about a couple of kids, who dug a cave near a stream and then were killed suffocating as it collapsed - and the DA-writers thought it FUNNY, I decided to forget about the site.
Add to that the honourable mention of '99, the balloon-gardenchair guy who couldn't just sit around, who was in fact a hoax... (Though based on facts, look up Urban Legends and read the truth behind the urban legend.)
Well, some page. Good and bad, I guess. *Sighs*
Not to be nitpicky, really!

yeah, i know they have a lot of winners and honourable mentions there that turned out to be hoaxes, or exaggerations at best. the lobster vasectomy one was one, i think, and so was the one about the harvester machine. ah well, some of it makes for good entertainment, i guess

I don't think this made the grade:
A man was woken by his wife who thought she heard a prowler. He went down the stairs stark naked and thought he heard something outside his front door.
So he bent down to look through the letterbox. His dog came and smelt hello at that inopportune moment and he jumped straight through the glass.
