A Conversation for The Darwin Awards
Infanticide

Part of the Darwin criteria is that the subject should not have reproduced before killing themselves in some stunning fashion. Checking out the Darwin web page no mention is made of people who killed themselves and took their offspring out at the same time ie car crashes, explosives incidents, thus protecting the gene pool from stupidity (discussions on dominant and recessive genes aside). This may be a creepy way to view things but is it a valid point or covered somewhere else?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
