"Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away"
-Earth, Wind and Fire.
'tis the 21st night of September now. The Hypatia for president campaign is poised to gain its 62nd supporter sometime soon. Why is this number significant? It's exactly twice the number of voters the last President needed to be elected. Plus, it just damn well is.
Some come, my Ozarkian friends, and let us change the minds of pretenders and false prophets, and then we shall engage in a hearty bout of cloud chasing. Idealism? Nah. It is Hypatianism. Yee-haw. A5645531

You forced your other half onto an h2g2 account? And she never did anything?
Like the space though. I feel like I begin half of my UG emails with the Julius Caesar quote or some variant thereof.
Probably not best to put someone down who won't vote for us though. Wouldn't want to be seen inflating the numbers on our page (operative word - seen. This is a public journal. Use email next time you want to launch a voting conspiracy)

(she damn well better)
By the way, if anyone's interested, we hope to have our Political Broadcast the up and running soon. It's pretty good.
I didn't write it, of course.

Can we rethink the nickname-extension?
A kiss from a sheep doesn't strike me as a vote-winner.
(Suggest replace 'if' with 'unless')

Oooh, you are in such trouble when she sees that...

She's only three. She needs her sleep.
She'll kill you in the morning.

Sixty-two is better than two...I'm out campaigning my newbie friends at 4AM. Let my virtual efforts not be forgotten when the new Director of FEMA is delected.

Hmm. Depends. Do you have any arabian horse experience?
It's 7:00 AM and the whale hasn't sat on me yet. Good sign.

it may be worth noting that the Arabian horse guy has been replaced by the guy who convinced a major portion of America that duct tape and plastic sheets were the best first defence against nuclear and biological terrorism

Oh, and for anyone who may happen to be reading this thread, take a look at this. A5853936 It's our broadcast. Hyp wrote it.
I think I'm referred to as 'badge-boy' in it, as if it needed decipherment. Totally unfair, I say. I've only had around... well, eight. Ok, fair enough.

I may have happened to have been reading this thread, or I may have stumbled across it by accident via the Info page - I can't really say
I've also read the broadcast.
Which is excellent
