Good god, I hate moving house.
I'm now sat in my new house surrounded by boxes and bags full of my stuff, which I'm unlikely to unpack for the next couple of days. I no longer live in Bradford and I can start putting all the that happened there behind me.
This week was supposed to be half term but I've not had a minute to myself. The weekend was spent under the duvet with a bad cold, then Tuesday and Wednesday were spent getting work experience in a Connexions centre in preparation for my interview. It actually gave me a big boost, as I really enjoyed it and was able to get my hands dirty.
Yesterday and today have been all about cleaning and moving. I'm absolutely exhausted so I'm planning on going the shops, buying plenty of treats and then not leaving the sofa.
Still working in the school from Hell, but I can handle that now I've got a lot more postive stuff going on.

I'm on the edge of Leeds now (I can see Leeds city centre from my bedroom). One of my colleagues lives just around the corner, so she'll be giving me a lift in: on days when she can't it's a bit of a trek - an hour or more on bus.
Not paying rent though, so it's worth every second travelling.

You know, it almost makes me pine for my old flat in Leeds. It was wonderful. I lived at the Call Lane flats, which are opposite the covered market, and I would still be there were it not for moving down to Shrewsbury.
If you're looking for a job in city centre, I would highly recommend them, as they're a housing association and therefore keep the rents to a bearable price. Not nearly as good as free though!
But that's for the future. Today you can look at the present and rejoice in the fact you're no longer in Bradford!

Will you have fun settling in, now that you've moved? I always like that getting everything in its right place phase.

I enjoy that phase too.
The rest of the moving process, on the other hand... H'mmm.
I'm sitting here surrounded by boxes, having just seen off the last of the prospective tenants for the place I'm leaving. From where I'm sitting I can see the house I'm moving to later this month. Everything's gone surreal on me.
But anyway. Iago, I'm glad you've removed yourself from Bradford, even if you are still ensnared by that school.
