OK I need to know why there are dental considerations with MS patients.I have always heard *tell your dentist*. I do not have MS, but I do have demyelinating problems. I am having lots*OWIES*. Dental pain, lower jaw mostly smiley - crossits been one thing after another. Can anyone explain where/how MS and dental problems relate? What is the connection?

Had my thyroid removed because of cancer in 95. There was some attention paid to my jaw then, kinda wonder about stray cells, do not want to think on that one long!smiley - runsmiley - run

Also, What about having problems with the dental numbing medication? Anyone know why such shaking occurs minutes afterwards? Allergy or sensitivity to Sulfa a problem here?I read about Sulfur smiley - erm possibly being a problem in some, unusual but may be causing reactions. I realise sulfa and sulfur are different. Are they related at all?

Any help pointing me to information appreciated smiley - biggrinouch..hurts to smile too smiley - cross

smiley - disco

EEEEKKKK!!!

Abbi, be CAREFUL with the shaking after jabs bit!!!

I'm on beta'blockers & it's ESSENTIAL I tell the dentist, it causes an extreme reaction to the adrenaline they use as one component of the usual local anaesthetic.

it is possible to give you a jab without the adrenaline bit but they MUST know about your reaction, not think it's just being nervous (though that doesn't help of course)

GO TALK TO St. NESS is my advice, tell her about what I've just said

Have you tried acupuncture? Either acupuncture or shiatsu (Japanese bodywork based on all the same principles as traditional Chinese medcicine but without the needles!) might be able to help with the tendonitis...

smiley - cuddle
