Merry Christmas!

Sounds about right to me! I missed most of series 2 though, so I hope I can follow what's going on. Should be simple enough, I imagine.

Apart from the eating and drinking, I'm planning to re-write White Christmas. The whiteness will be fog rather than snow.

And the same to you.
We'll do the usual family get-together. Having fun, playing tricks, making marcipan figurines, decorating the x-mas tree together, playing games, and having a competition in tabletennis - all participate in everything from the youngest 3½ (my husband's youngest grandchild) to the oldest 74 (my mother). My mother and I take turns in the kitchen when we alternately are up for matches.
Food is traditional - stuffed, roasted duck, a leg of lamb (not traditional Danish - my husband is Italian), white potatoes and sugarcoated potatoes, gravy and pickled beetroot and red cabbage - ris a la mande with cherry sauce for desert. And the almond .
Probably more than you wanted to know.
Merry Christmas!

Sounds nice!
We'll be having the traditional Irish Christmas dinner, but without the turkey:
Smoked Salmon on homemade Irish brown bread
Roast Ham
Roast potatoes
Stuffing
Brussel sprouts
Carrots and parsnips
Chocolate Ice Cream
Merry Christmas!

Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Dec 23, 2006
Merry Christmas!!
Hope you and your family have a great time .
My parents are having Christmas with us this year - for the first time . I *think* everything's under control... but I've been running around like a demented thing all week trying to sort things! I'll be glad when it's here and I can finally relax .
Merry Christmas!

Nice to see all the seasonal smilies out. There's something vaguely weird about a horizontal , though.
Merry Christmas!

That food sounds gorgeous, tartaronne!
The fog appears to have finally lifted this morning. My aunt and uncle were supposed to be heading to Tenerife yesterday, I hope they took off on time!
We have a Christmas party with friends of the family in their very nice and rather large house tonight, which should be fun, then tomorrow we have dinner with another friend of the family, a bit of a Christmas tradition.
For Christmas day, my grandparents and uncle are coming around as usual, but my cousin is too because his parents and brother are all on holiday so he'd be on his own otherwise!
Merry Christmas!

There is still a little fog down in the valleys here. I can normally see right down into the town a mile or two away from the hill I live on but it's mostly white at the moment. And there's not even any sun .
Merry Christmas!

Our children have played boardgames since they were grown enough to throw the dice and count the pips or recognise the colours, they love it. That doesn't mean that they don't have their Nintendo, PC etc, but they value the time we sopend together, playing board games.
Merry Christmas!
Steve51 Posted Dec 23, 2006
Thats brilliant, B'Elena..We grew up with boardgames and books... isn't it, and no all day TV either. Maybe we weren't spoilt for choice... But I am amazed today when I hear kids say they are bored, I find it so funny...
