When one walks directly in the door, it is painfully obvious that they are to remove their shoes; the door opens to a small lowered platform, as they hve in asians homes, and there are a few pair of lonely-looking shoes already neatly lined up near the wall. One pair is bright yellow, with velcro closures and deep blue reacing stripes, and the other is a large pair of very dangerous looking boots that appear to have been peiced from scrap leather and then riveted together.

There are many pegs and hooks for hats and cloaks (or coats, as it may be,) and a nice umbrella stand in the corner.

*Leans in the doorway, slips off his shoes quickly, and slings his cloak about a peg. He gently raps on the doorframe.*
