Well, Fairly Strange, I must confess that I only know you because so many other people do. However, you may know who I am. I have been hired to ivestigate the letters 'NM' that you use in your Guide Writings. I realize that this may be a deep, personal thing that you consider special for only you and a few other people. If this is the case, then I will attempt not to pester you as often as I will. If it isn't, well then could you tell me? Or is this just a random bunch of letters that you use to confuse people?

I must admit, I am flattered by such interest in such a trivial thing!
Yes... the NM does have a "message specific" turn. It was developed here in H2G2(actually, at home...then spread to here).
It has to do with a rather ....eeerrrmmm... shall I say...."adventurous" evening. I'll go as far as to say...Adam would be proud!
