BTW, what's the use of posting my hunch? If I'm correct, it'll endanger the secret. And, even if it is right, you won't tell me. And I'm not sure I can ICQ people at the moment . . .

.......and if I told you when you're correct, then there would be no "detecting" to do....thus compromising you're reputatation! I don't believe you want that!

This is getting terribly complicated isn't it!! You can always write an article on it and send it to the Post!

Yes, but that would allow the entirety of h2g2 the opportunity to discover what "NM" stands for. I have decided that, like so many holistic detectives, I shouldn't tell the world my solution when I come to it. Instead, I'll just know it, and not tell anyone, so that the terrible secret can remain safe. Also, thanks for thinking of my reputation, Fairly Strange. Hey, think the post would want to know my solution to the missing fish case?

Okay! In that case, I guess that I should try, once again, to write the Guide Entry without being kicked off of the internet. You know, third time's the charm. BTW, I'm not giving up on solving the NM mystery, especially not with the two hunches I have.

Write your entry "offline", and "copy and paste". Saves a lot of headaches!

If you tell me that these are dangerous I think that I will go quietly dig a hole and bury myself as those to things make up about half of my diet.

I agree wholeheartedly, Marv! Iwas under the impression those were the two most important food groups!

Okay, Fairly Strange, now that I've posted the solution to the Fenny Fish Felon, is there any way I can contact you with a hunch that one of my nameless ring of informants helped me to formulate?
