sorry but have lots of decisions to make.....

Vert dear friends,
This is just a brief note to say that I shall be very busy and probably absent from my computer for the next few weeks/months.
It is very necessary that I change my place of abode, and you will all know what this means.
I know tht I am going to be very happy in the place where I want to go to and will be able too once again share my life with K. and he will be able to help me with my growing infirmities !!
So forgive the enforced absence. I think I am going to get a laptop so perhaps I can keep in touch that way until I have another roof over my head.
Now I am off to find what the various organisations who cater for the elderly, the disabled etc. etc. can offer me in the new place of abode.
with love to you all
Christiane

Christiane, I loved your descriptions of the roses that grow on your porch. Will you be able to take most of your plants with you? I know that they mean a lot to you.
All the best.
Paul

Christiane, good luck with your plans. I do hope you can let us know what is happening and where you are moving to. It would be a shame to lose touch, but you must do what is best for you.
Take care,
Websailor

Well thank you all for your super messages.
I have missed my daily contact and then when my life quietened down a bit could absoutely not get onto my space.
Anyway, at the mometn it seems to be OK.
K. is happy where he is. Unfortunately it is at least seventy miles away from here and takes well over an hour and costs a bomb with taxis.
My eyes are not so hot - in fadt I have had to go to the doctor in order to ask for an appointment to see an 0pthamalogist. The original diagnosis was macula degeneration, but that was negated by another guy. I now look at TV. with my eyes closed - only opeinng them occasionally to check if what I think is happening really is!!!
I would like to write about my wonderful treat on Sunday when I was taken to France by my grandson and his girlfriend.
With much affection and thank y9u again for all your heart warming messages.
Christiane

When I edit my posting I am going to leave the error of reversing the the two last letters of a word. As some of you may remember I had a stroke in my temporal lobe in November 2008.
apparently one of the significant symptoms of a temporal stroke is the fadt that when typing one reverses the two last letters of a word. Apparently Terry Pratchett has experienced this.
I would hooe that perhaps when I do it, it might provide an extra bit of empirical research for the researchers who discovered this effect of temporal strokes.
A little bit I can do in return for all the wonderful care which |I have been given by quite the most outstanding Health system in the world.

Thanks for the update, Christiane. I often wonder how you are doing. I wish K were closer, so you could see other more often. Is there a chance that your grandson could drive out and pick you up, so the taxi wouldn't be necessary?
