my god sorry about that last little outburst from me guys. from the outside it looks as though i've had a wee bit much to drink and got annoyed that my ramblings weren't coming across to an innocent looking lamp post, and thinking that if i repeat what i had said with a rising voice level then the lamp post will eventually agree with me!the reason is at the time the internet wasn't going too fast and it gave an error message so i posted the message again thinking it hadn't worked. sorry

A lot of us are ACEs, and since it's part of our job to help new users here, we are subscribed to this particular area, since a lot of new people post questions here.

That's what I love so much about meet-ups! Not only do you find out that your online friends are just as great in person, but you meet people you might not have run into here!

Xian nothing wrong with the underside of tables. i'll be getting that treatment in a couple of weeks for freshers week, stunting my reputable etiquette i'm sure. (that's probably the most sarcatic thing i've said)

According to the "Info" page ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/info ), there are 145,793 Researchers on the site. I know some of them are probably multiple accounts of people, but it's still a lot!

indeed. did you know thats a number bigger than the number of islands in the Stockholm archipelago. i'll write an entry about it one of these days
