My brother has been vomiting blood.
I cannot even fathom bad news about him.
I know he has been under a great deal of stress for a couple of years.
I suppose I should hope for an ulcerated something or other most possibilities are worse.
I really do not eeeeven want to think about this.
I have been doing water colors and watching movies.
I hope he knows something soon and will begin to take care of himself.

Oh abbi, I'm so sorry! Well, I hope you can find some lighter threads around to keep your mind off it for a while. Go check out the recent post about the temperature of Hell on the Tell Us a Joke thread - it's quite good.

It does sound alarming. Sending healing intentions to you and your brother. The good news is that stomach ulcers, if that is the cause of his vomiting, are now known to be caused by bacteria ( rather than stress ) and can be treated easily with an anti-biotic called ( I think ) Losac.

hello there, there is also a "bug"called helibacti pyloris, which can cause a lot of stomach problems, and can be treated succesfully with a course of two antibiotics combination.i have a duodenal ulcer, which i have had for many years.....and medicationis very good for it.the bleeding could be because a stomach ulcer has become inflamed.chin up abbi....try and think positive.xx

Abbi
It'll be all right... I have a feeling that the anxiety/worry over the diagnosis is the worst bit of the situation.
And yes!!! What do you paint!??

And and and!!!! You could read the Hitchhiker's Guide....

Big s abbi, sorry to hear about your brother's problem. Hopefully the worrying about the diagnosis is the worst part. Sending best wishes & healing intentions. Hope you can find distractions - try not to worry too much, hopefully its nothing serious.
