Does Anyone Else Think........
Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Feb 3, 2004
Of Agincourt and Napoleon...
Agincourt was a the final justification for having most of the male population of England and Wales doing hours of archery practise every day. Our army was pretty much proffessional, for the standards of the day, against the creme de la creme of French aristocracy, so called as they ate mostly cream buns and other such french pastries. And the fact that they attacked us in a muddy field with "not suitable for heavy cavalry" signs dotted about helped too!
Napoleon.
Lets not forget it took Wellington (greatest general EVER)'s British Army, complete with Richard Sharpe the unkillable hero, and General Blucher's Prussian Army to beat Napoleon at Waterloo. And he nearly won. I used to think he wasn't that great, then I studied him. The man was a genius. For a snail muncher....

I'm sorry, it's just my psychiatrist says I'm not allowed to think about boobies anymore, it does crazy things to my head.
But Tina Turner? She's like old, and saggy, and..... I'm going for a cigarette to take my mind off breasts.

Just another case of american media frenzy. If it has a gun, film it. If it has a gun and shoots someone, declare war- nuke it - film it.
As long as its all on film then there quite happy.

But that was old media. Most modern media wont show america losing because america simply wouldnt accept that and would get very angry at all the american deaths (like veitnam).
But if it shows america winning (like that horrific footage of an iraq resistance fighter shooting at an Abrams tank helplessly, only to have the window he was shooting out of fired at by said tank) then americans will support the war (on the whole)

But if it's being shown live (like that piece about the American embassy being overun by the Vietcong was) there's no escape from the truth
