SEF Posted Mar 11, 2004
We're not allowed to eat the candles then?
[ Ignores dangerous food and drink items, finds candles and sets to work drawing on some card with them - for no reason of course. ]

Oh ing !!!!
....
Ok... you know what?....
I logged on and saw this thread... I wasn't sure which friend it led to .. but when I saw who it was and what it was... And that I still had to ASSUME something from too little information!!!!.....
Ok... I'll bite!!!!
I've made assumptions before and have been possibly 'wrong'...
But this time I'll assume it's your 'NANA' day (as in 'Happy NA-NA to you, Happy Na-Na to you... you know the rest... there is a copyright on 'happy birthday' albeit little inforced)
But anyway.... Even if I'm 7 hours too late....
HAPPY NA-NA FARLANDER!!!!

Ah it must be wonderful, to be young enough to still look forward to bananas. (That is what nana day is about, right? )

If you want it to be, sure!
(But mostly it's an inside joke to me that I've been trying to spread... I HATE my birthday... (it's too close to the supposed birthday of the offspring aspect of tripartite monotheistic diety). So I say 'na-na' instead of 'birthday'...
Or maybe I do it just to be .
BTW... Your last post missed being the 5,000,000th by only 11 posts (probably less than a minute or two to early).

As far as I could make out, that particular landmark post was on the private forum of Serephina (U191719).

Hey there CZ!
My dear mum feels much the same. Her birthday is ON that cold December date.
A couple of minutes? Blast and double d%@#!
Wait just a minute! A couple of minutes EARLY??!
If you only count UNIQUE posts, given some people's tendency to double-post, I still have about a week to get it Right!!
Thanks for the encouraging word!

The worst date I've heard of on which to have been born is 1 January... You have all the problems of having a birthday so close to the holiday as a child, ie xmas/bday presents, no parties because all of your classmates are away visiting their families, your bday being often overlooked because of the clamor at that time of year, etc, but you also have the problem when your an adult of everyone being hungover on your birthday as well!
So count your self lucky that your parents didn't pick the end of March to fool around and concieve you, Farlander.

Ah, CZ,
The ol' 1-1 is bad, but at least you don't have to go to church!
And, you can always roll the leftover, passed-out drunks to get your b-day money!

Am I supposed to be garnering some useful information from all of the hints dropped here?
Oh yeah, Happy Birthday DNA!
...
Oh, and you too.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FARLANDER!

thanks everyone! for years, when asked when my birthday was, i'd tell people it was on the same day as my favourite author's. half of them never quite worked it out. sef, you're welcome to eat the candles, along with your paper plate and plastic fork. count zero - what makes you so certain i was even conceived in the first place? for all you know, a gene machine could have spat me up, and my parents found me by the road...
er, more ?

thanks, rho! i've had a grand total of four birthday celebrations so far, in four completely different places. that *has* to constitute some kind of a record...
