Just an update (in my own space) on Neal and his bike crash.

He is in surgery at the moment...he went down just before 2.00pm. it will be some time before I find out how the operation went and whether they have actually saved the leg or not.

Not sure if now is the right time to type this as my head isn't where is should be. I don't even think it's on my shoulders but hey ho.

Am tired and lost without him. I would rather he come back alive and without a leg if the surgeons need to take that decision. The house we have is already adapted for disabilities due to the elderly lady who owned the house before us having had it adapted, so it wouldn't be a massive issue apart from chances are Neal wouldn't be able to work and there is no one to sue due to the accident having taken place on a race track.

Will update people when I can. Will apologise now for any crying, ranting, swearing I may or may not put in here in the future.

Neal's operation successful and he's kept his leg, still in recovery at the moment and will take him back to main ward soon. He's awake and responsive

I cannot believe that Neal's estranged wife texted Neal's parents 2 nights ago and told them he had lost his knee! At no point did he lose his knee. The patella was smashed and dislocated but they have fixed it! I would dearly love to know why she sent them that text and how she got that information because if she got it of Neal, he doesn't even know what day it is never mind what has happened completely to him! That was a totally unforgivable thing to do as they are not even in the country at the moment.

Happy news that he's kept his leg...
