back biting and jibes that people seem to be doing on here.


Journal entries are good for releasing steam, but when you put them there to dig at someone, then it ain't very nice.


Most of you who are friends I have e-mail addresses for, but I'm not going to be sticking around this site for much longer.


It's not what I want it to be anymore.


To those of you who have helped me cope with the onset of my depression, I thank you will all my heart. You are angels.


To those who have helped to add to my depression can, quite frankly, go to hell. I've no further with to be friendly with you any more.


I'm at the end of my tether right now with what has happened to my family over recent weeks and trying to stay strong for everyone elses sake ain't working either.


So as far as I know, this will be the last posting I will be doing on h2g2...I just wish it would go back to how it used to be, but it won't.

VV if folk are getting on your back in hootoo, then taking a break from it might not be a bad idea. I haven't picked up on anyone having a go, but when you're on a low banter can come accross in the wrong way.

I hope that you find the time and space, and even more important, the support to recover. If I have posted anything that you felt was an attack let me take this opportunity to say that none of my postings were meant that way.

I can fully understand your thinking in this VV, it really does seem to have all come at once foor you and yours. However I'd urge you to consider it to be a break and not a cessation. Were you on a more even keel I feel you would be more than equal to the unpleasantness you have encountered. As far as HooToo goes, it is nothing new, it happens on a regular, albeit long period, cycle. It is part and parcel of online life, and this place gets it far less than many others.

You are a caring, unselfish, bright and friendly person - and that is just what I have discovered about you on h2g2.

I reiterate what I said in my reply to your aceforum email.

If you need someone to listen, (and I am very sure I am not the only one willing) then just mail me. I can't remember a time without my depression so maybe I can offer an understanding others can't.

In this virtual world all we have is smileys, so is all I can do but the thought is real enough.

It's like this big black hole in front of me and the wind wants to push me into it....gusting so strongly.

hey there VV. I agree with the others, although purely for selfish reasons, that is I'm going to miss you, I think you should think of this as a break, rather than an ending.

I'd prefer if you took a break rather than leaving us all here on our own, but I understand.

Hey VV! Having had the good fortune to have met you (and mum) in RL I thoroughly agree with Mort.

Cicumstances have befallen you, thats all. It doesn't make you a bad or weak person. We each deal with things differently. But I have no doubt that you can come out of this.

There's nothing wrong with taking some 'me' time. Recharge those batteries. From past postings i know that you have a lot of friends here, why not use them? It's what we are here for.

And I can testify to Mort having good shoulders when it comes to dealing with these matters. She doesn't judgeor jump in, but does listen very well.
