Well, I've been through all the bank statements...none missing.

I've gone through all the income and expenses and ticked them off against the bank statements. (again)

Double checked my addings.(for the third time)

Tried it again............£99.60 out!!!!


It's GOT to be the calculator!!

we used white out and wrote 'Ye Olde Scientific Calculator' on my calculator cause I'd taken up calling it that...

Well at least yours does more than just add up and subtract!

Hee hee. Gotta love having a graphics calculator. *sits back in chair lazily, basking in the glory of the graphics-i-ness*

Darling, look for a missed Credit first!

btw.. stop using the decimal point, that is always the main cause of mistakes in calculations

The thing I run into the most is the cashiers who count voided credit card sales and credits as regular sales on the nightly report. When that happens I have to re add every cashiers receipts for the day.

no decimal points used.


all done manually (now done on excell to double check and it agrees to my figures)



All done from bank statements so if something has been voided, it will show up (I do have one of those on here, it's a credit back onto this guys debit card).

I could offer you the use of my slip-stick (slide-rule to those who don't know) but it may be too archaic for one so young.

Baby.. check the paying in slips!!... The banks are not infallible!

Possible they have transposed the figures from the paying slip .. and the statement is wrong.


Remember John Mac??... It drove him crackers until I looked at that direction!!

Graphic calculaters were only an idea for the future when I was in school...

Although if you do want a new calc VV I have a box with 100 of the little s in under my desk at work.
They all have the branding ROSEHILL FURNITURE GROUP but they work. (sometimes)
I will gladly send you one....



BTW - on the subject of calculators how many people here put the numbers 5318008 into there calculators when they were at school.

That and 7734...

No one at my school has ever put that number in a calculator at school.... at least not for that reason...

And I was watching Ghost Busters earlier today and now I've been given a hankering to watch it again. Ah! Good movie though. "For whatever reason, Ray, call if fate, call it luck, call it karma..."

By the time we had calculators, school was nearly done, as were such "pass-times". But I'm sure there were any number of fun numbers for a dedicated mind, eh?
