now people, calm down, all of you. i don't want to get involved with this, niether do you lot if you think about it. War is not worth it, i don't want to go through the pain of hearing rolf sing "sun a rize in a morning, suna rize in a morning..." and i do not want to have anyone watch dale winton!
as for you , you supreme evilness, i think it is nice that you are doing your job but there is no need for you to encourage this (it's bad enough already) so please, let Glendor into your life, relax and listen to the music of death. (trust me, it is relaxing.)
walter, as for you, i thought you were a nice guy but it seams you have taken a dislike of me just coz i stood up for old mark moxon, i apologise for any pain i caused but i had to stand up for him, just once.
yours not to punish

Yes, I am doing my job. Rather well, by the looks of it *chuckle*
I'm not actually trying to start a war, you know.
Excuse me, I have to go and be Evil elsewhere.

Walter, groggy but not unbowed from MaW's unwarranted and unjustified onslaught. Take this: sets up MaW's stereo to play continuous and loud 1960's Bee Gees!!!
Your High Priestedness, my affection for you remains undiminished but nothing, NOTHING, will I permit to come between me and my fight for justice for SERGEI PROKOFIEV. War is hell.

Hello MaW,
Which, of course, is how this whole thing got started (putting on a Prokofiev CD, that is). If you are interested, have a look at the Sergei Prokofiev forum - you can find it most times at number five on teh 'most neglected topics' on the h2g2 front page!!!!!
PS How are you liking the Bee Gees? Take care,
Walter.

MaW Posted Oct 17, 2000
I don't think I've heard that one. It can't be as bad as S Club 7 though.

Sorry guys but it is time for me to turn on the lights and turn off the record player! The party is winding down.
This page is solely for feedback about h2g2 so can I suggest that you debate the relative evilness of S Club 7 on the Ask h2g2 page.
Thanks

look abi,
i must apologise for these evil beings taking up your special spot. but they r also here staging a protest, this is like I-net picketing, u know, what hippys do. so really asking them to leave is not really going to work. i don't mean to be rude but i just feel u sould respect these mens right to demonstrate.
thanx for reading this,
message for walter: just a note to say i think it is awfull that sergi is still on the front page, keep up the protest don't get detered.

I didn't think this was meant to be a sit in protest...but wow what fun, you two guys need to reconsider your tactics though I mean the BeeGees, Rolf Harris and SClub7...I like this place
*sits singing along to Rolf's new dance single*
But as for the real reason I think it's great that the names being changed on the most neglected list so thank you for that Abi and the rest of you. You do a great job and most overlooked is definitely a happier place for Prokofiev to be in
Oh and sorry to ask this again but I missed the answer, how is the "Most neglected but still much loved" list put together? Is it the number of entries/posts to the page or something to do with the ratio of old posts to new posts? I'm not bemoaning it as if he hadn't been on that list I'd have never found the article in the first place so in a way it kind of helps it but I just wondered
Thank you again
*passes round Fruit Pastilles to all the italicy people and to everyone not neglecting Prokofiev*

Walter takes a rasberry fruit pastille from Tinkerbell. Nice, thank you, what a bonza companion.
In desperation, Walter approaches large, very thick and apparently well-padded front door of h2g2 Towers. Has a six-pack of Boags Premium and a bunch of bluebells. No-one answers his persistent knocking. He scribbles a note. It reads 'Please can you explain to me what the criteria are for any particular article appearing in the 'most neglected' list?' Walter has another brainwave. He adds a postscript: 'And under any criteria, can you please tell me how Sergei Prokofiev appears daily on the 'most neglected' list?'
Without warning, a face appears at a small 'peephole' in the aforementioned door. 'Go away, stop singing Bee Gees and Rolf Harris songs, do it somewhere else!' Walter hastens to explain his presence: 'But I'm only passing the time while waiting for someone to talk with me about my questions guv. Is there anyone who could spare some time to speak with me please?' But Walter is talking to himself again, for the peephole has closed.
Walter sighs. Thinks changing the name of the site from 'most neglected' to 'most overlooked' doesn't answer his questions. Walter thinks he should be on the 'most overlooked' site. But Walter is patient. He leaves six pack of Boags, and the bluebells, next to the door, and returns to the street. He is humming 'Two little boys'.

Most Overlooked is most definitely a more suitable title than Most Neglected... I wish "How to learn to speak Klingon" didn't appear there so frequently. I mean, it was only added to the Edited Guide a month or two ago.

I have to say that I respect everyone's right to protest - i myself am doing so on Walter's page.
Walter incidentally it is 9.48 pm GMT and it is not on the overlooked list!!!

Hobart 23 October, 07.55. Sergei Prokofiev, as ever, number five on the most neglected. The flame of optimism flickers, but barely, celebrations very much premature.
