Nice idea - I especially liked the thumbs up and down signs, we desperately need those...did you make these yourself, or what?

Fragilis - h2g2 Cured My Tabular Obsession Posted Aug 28, 2000
That's a very important question, because h2g2 must worry about law suits if it violates anyone's copyrighted images.

Nah, I stole all these off the Iron Maiden BB. Go to http://www.ironmaiden.co.uk and see if you notice a few similarities.
I never intended a serious replacement of smilies, just sorta threw up the list for a laugh *^_^*
But you can't deny - such a variety of brilliant smilies is a Good Thing

We are shortly in the process of selecting new smilies, if you have any suggestions just email me at [email protected] .
But Fragilis is right about copyright! We have to be very careful about this!
Thanks

There must be a smiley to represent "mild amusement" for this situation!

Actually, I do have a suggestion for a smiley.
I often use this one:
It is used to express confusion or embarrassment.

I made a researcher's smileys page at http://www.h2g2.com/A213580 a while back, which has plenty of ideas. If any of you have drawn any and would like them on the page, I'd be happy to add them.

We're organising new smilies at the moment. I've seen a sneak preview and they are totally fantastic. I can't wait, and no, I can't give you an exact launch date, yet. Patience smiley lovers, patience...
