I see no reason for the existing smilies to be changed, since they are designed to match whichever skin you're using. Although I have a suspicion that Goo and Alabaster use the same smilies anyway...

Of course they'd backchange all the posts. I think all smiley symbols are processed when the forum is downloaded (don't quote me on that though) so it would automagically work... I think. Go ask on the Technical Questions bit of Don't Panic if you really want to know.

Anyway, I never stated (seriously) that the existing smilies should be changed. Just threw this up for a laugh. But if we DID switch all the smilies, it would be unbelievably cool.

We did switch all of the smilies last Halloween, they suddenly all changed to pumpkins and the like. Great fun!

The new smilies, we're extending the range. I've seen them, the art team have done a fabulous job, they are *incredible*...

any idea when new ones will come out.....the halloween ones sound really cool!

Oh yes, I remember the Helloween and Christmas ones...particularly the Hallowed. I was still fairly green then, even conventional smilies were like a gift. I sure hope we see them again, they rocked the world too much
