but what does a ranger do exactly? I saw the lord of the rings trilogy and aragorn was a ranger, but what do rangers do?

you'll see most other subclasses have some kind of special ability associated with them. soon I am going to move to a different ability system. (but don't worry, old players, you'll keep the ones you have and/or possibly add more)

Aragorn was a ranger but not too much. Im talking about a person who is connected with nature and has the best tracking abilities. Rangers can use animals as pets, and are best with a bow and arrow.

In some games and books rangers have trueshot aura, which can increase the damage of your arrows. They also have evasion which well its self explanitory. They also have roots, to root whatever to the ground...ummm

Nerd42, if you ever want some suggestions i read a lot of fantasy fiction, also i play tons of computer games like that. So if you ever want to ask me a quetsion about a class, race, or anything at all just ask me.

Btw, since there are no rangers, what should i be or are you going to implement it into the quest?

well you see, there are three classes in this game "Fighter" (sometimes called "Warrior"), "Wizard" (sometimes called "Mage") and "Thief" (sometimes called "Rouge)

so I wouldn't be adding a Ranger class, I'd be adding a Ranger Ability. I was planning on putting in pets sometimes....

on a lighter note, what smiley would be for ranger?
